RouterOS 7.20 [stable]がリリースされました。

はじめに

久しぶりにマイナーリリースとなる、RouterOS 7.20がリリースされました。

2025年9月29日にリリースされたこのバージョンでは、BGP機能の大幅な強化、コンテナ機能の拡張、ブリッジ・MLAG関連の改善など、多岐にわたる機能追加と修正が行われているとのことです。

本記事では、RouterOS 7.20の主要な変更点について、解説していきます。

主な改善点

BGP関連の大幅な改善

EVPN対応とBGPインスタンス EVPN（Ethernet VPN）の初期サポートが追加され、BGPインスタンス設定が導入されました。これにより、より柔軟なBGP設計が可能になります。

NLRIフィルタの追加 IPv4/IPv6プレフィックスをより精密に制御できるNLRIフィルタが追加され、アドバタイズメントの制御がより細かく行えます。

IPv6ネクストホップでのIPv4広告 IPv4 NLRIをIPv6ネクストホップでアドバタイズする機能がサポートされ、IPv6移行期の運用がより柔軟になりました。

コンテナ機能の大幅な拡張

リソース管理とモニタリング

• コンテナごとのメモリ制限とモニタリング機能を追加
• cpuset、cpu、memory、pidのcgroupsをサポートし、リソース管理がより細かく可能に
• /container/logメニューを追加し、各コンテナごとに100メッセージまで保持

ハードウェアアクセスとKVMサポート

• /system/hardwareメニューからコンテナにデバイスを渡すことが可能に
• ハードウェアデバイスへの直接アクセスをサポート
• x86とarm64でコンテナQEMU内のKVMが使用可能になり、高速な仮想化を実現

ネットワークとストレージ

• 複数のvethインターフェースが使用可能に
• 読み取り専用マウントをサポート
• 個別ファイルのマウントも可能に
• VETHインターフェースにdhcp=yes/noプロパティを追加し、コンテナをLANで簡単に実行可能に

運用面の改善

• /container/shell cmd= user=でコンテナ内コマンドを実行可能に
• repullコマンドを追加
• シャットダウン時に適切にコンテナが終了されるように改善
• エラーメッセージをより分かりやすく改善

ブリッジとMLAG関連の改善

MLAG環境の堅牢化 MLAG環境でのホスト学習ロジックをリファクタリングし、より堅牢で予測可能な動作を実現しました。これにより、複雑なMLAG構成でも安定した運用が期待できます。

動的VLAN管理 動的タグエントリ「switch-cpu」を追加し、複数のスイッチチップにまたがるVLAN構成や、HWポートとSWポートの両方でVLANが使用されるシナリオに対応しました。

STPデバッグ機能 詳細なSTPデバッグログを追加し、以下の情報が記録されるようになりました：

• BPDU送受信
• エッジポート遷移
• ポート役割遷移
• FDBフラッシュ

DHCP機能の強化

DHCPv4サーバー

• リーススクリプトにlease-agent-circuit-idとlease-agent-remote-id変数を追加し、より詳細な情報に基づいた制御が可能に
• セットアップウィザードに「add dns」ステップを追加し、初期設定がより簡単に

DHCPv6サーバー

• ignore-ia-na-bindings設定を追加し、アドレスリクエストを無視してプレフィックスのみで動作可能に
• これはPrefix Delegation専用の環境で有用です

DHCPクライアント

• DHCPv4クライアントで送信パケットのDSCPとVLAN優先度を指定可能に
• DHCPv6クライアントでaccept-prefix-without-addressオプションを追加し、アドレスが利用できない場合でもプレフィックスを受け入れ可能に

CoAサポート DHCPv4/v6サーバーにCoA（Change of Authorization）サポートを追加し、RADIUSとの連携を強化しました。

ファイアウォールとコネクショントラッキング

liberal-tcp-tracking設定 新しいliberal-tcp-trackingコネクショントラッキング設定を追加し、非標準的なTCP接続の追跡がより柔軟になりました。

IPv4/IPv6の個別カウント total-ip4-entriesとtotal-ip6-entriesカウンタを追加し、IPv4とIPv6のコネクション数を個別に監視可能になりました。SNMP OIDも追加されています。

マルチコア対応の改善 マルチコアシステムでのコネクション処理の安定性を向上し、高負荷環境でのパフォーマンスを改善しました。

その他の改善

• dst-limitマッチャーが10000以上の値でも正しく動作するように修正
• IPv6ファイアウォールのインターフェースマッチャーがVRFインターフェースをマッチングしない問題を修正
• IPv6コネクショントラッキングルックアップの応答性を向上

LTE・モバイル関連の改善

eSIM機能の拡充

• プロビジョニング成功後に自動でプロファイルリストを更新
• MBIMモデムでeSIM存在検出機能を追加
• eSIMプロビジョニングをグローバルCRL証明書設定から除外し、より柔軟な運用が可能に

新規モデムサポート RG650E-EUモデムのパススルーサポートを追加しました。

運用面の改善

• remove-sent-sms-after-sendオプションで送信済みSMSを自動削除可能に
• SIM PINエントリステータスに関わらずICCIDを表示
• MBIMプロトコル経由のSMS送信安定性を向上

WiFi機能の改善

チャネル選択の最適化 クライアントがサポートしにくい5GHz帯チャネル（UNII-3-4）をデフォルトで避けるようになりました。これにより、接続性の問題が減少することが期待されます。必要に応じてchannel.deprioritize-unii-3-4で上書き可能です。

CAPsMAN関連 重要な設定変更時のみCAPsMANが再起動されるようになり、不要な再起動による接続断が減少しました。

その他の改善

• WiFiスキャンリストを拡大
• ステーションモードでの接続ループ問題を修正
• TR069サポートを追加

PoE機能の強化

CRS320でのUPSサポート CRS320でライン双方向型（line-interactive）とオフライン型（offline）UPSをサポートしました。

検出機能の改善

• デュアルシグネチャ検出を改善
• ショート回路検出と報告を改善
• すべてのクラスの最大電力マージンを増加

ファームウェア更新 802.3at/bt対応ボードのファームウェアを更新しました。更新時にPoE-Outインターフェースへの電源供給が一時的に中断されるため、計画的なメンテナンスが必要です。

IPv6関連の改善

NDプロキシング 個別アドレスのIPv6 NDプロキシングをサポートし、より柔軟なIPv6ネットワーク設計が可能になりました。

ルーティング改善 静的ルートでpref-srcが動作し、設定可能になりました。

WireGuard対応 WireGuardインターフェースのauto-link-local機能を修正しました。

システム・管理関連の改善

OpenFlow 1.3サポート OpenFlow 1.3のサポートを追加し、新しい「openflow」パッケージが利用可能になりました。SDN環境での活用が期待されます。

リソース管理の統合 /system/resource/usbと/system/resource/pciを/system/resource/hardwareに統合し、デバイスツリー形式で表示されるようになりました。これにより、ハードウェアリソースの把握がより直感的になりました。

WinBox関連

• 最小バージョンを3.42に引き上げ
• 多数の機能追加とUI改善を実施
• コンテナ、BGP、WiFiなど、新機能に対応するメニューを追加

WebFig改善 トークン認証を追加し、ページリロード時のパスワード入力が不要になりました。ログアウトボタンで関連セッションすべてがログアウトされ、セキュリティも向上しました。

コンソール改善

• スクリプト編集時にTAB文字をスペースに置き換え
• ファイル名補完と検証機能を追加
• 大きなテーブル表示時の視覚効果を改善

その他の注目すべき改善

VRRP機能拡張

• sync-connection-tracking用の詳細設定を追加
• proxy-arpサポートを追加
• フェイルオーバー時のTCP接続状態の問題を修正

VXLAN機能追加

• checksumとlearningプロパティを追加
• vrf設定をvtep-vrfに名称変更し、より明確に

Sniffer改善 パケットをpcapng形式で保存し、インターフェース名、パケット方向、ナノ秒精度のタイムスタンプが含まれるようになりました。トラブルシューティングがより詳細に行えます。

PTP精度向上 タイムスタンプとパケット送信間の遅延を削除し、PTP精度を向上しました。RDS2216デバイスのPTPサポートも追加されています。

まとめ

RouterOS 7.20は、BGP、コンテナ、ブリッジ・MLAG、DHCP、ファイアウォールなど、多くに渡って大幅な機能強化が行われています。

本リリースは、エンタープライズ環境やサービスプロバイダー向けの機能が大幅に強化された印象です。特にBGP、コンテナ、MLAGを使用している環境では、アップグレードのメリットが大きいと考えられます。

アップグレードを検討される際は、本番環境への適用前にテスト環境での十分な検証をお勧めします。
